Spanning over 4 days, the Valuation of Partial Acquisition course consists of 32 credit hours and is designed to delve into fundamental principles and the valuation process. It covers topics such as employing the Federal ("Before and After") Rule and the State (Summation) Method in valuing partial acquisitions. The course will explore how to distribute compensation for partial acquisitions among their elements, present various methods for assessing and quantifying the effects of partial acquisitions, and provide detailed examinations of temporary and permanent easements.
This course is an advanced required course for the R/W-AC and R/W-URAC certifications, and is an advanced elective course that may be applied toward the SR/WA designation.
