Member Spotlight: Welcome Connor Keizer

Updated: Nov 27

Join us in extending a warm welcome to Connor Keizer, with Keizer Land Services, to our Chapter!

Meet Connor

While studying at Utah State University, Connor was focused on becoming a professional pilot and obtained his single-engine land private license before shifting his focus to Right of Way, where he has now two years of industry experience and holds Real Estate Licenses in both Utah and Idaho. He currently works as an acquisition agent at Keizer Land Services, making offers to property owners and negotiating settlements on behalf of entities that he represents. This typically involves weekly dialogue with customers and the client, virtual/in-person meetings, coordinating the signatures for contracts and conveyance documents, and preparing files.

Connor thinks of himself as the "middleman" between the two parties, with the sole purpose of easing communication with tact and ensuring both sides are heard and understood. He enjoys interacting with others and is keen on the negotiation process, delighting in resolving conflicts through peaceful and efficient problem-solving, and establishing a connection with all parties involved.

Connor decided to join IRWA to become a more knowledgeable right-of-way professional and to develop relationships with other experienced IRWA members. Interested in furthering his Right of Way knowledge, particularly in being able to answer questions often asked by customers, Connor is dedicating to learning and understanding why certain regulations exist in the industry. To increase his knowledge and experience in the industry, he is beginning his journey to obtain his SR/WA designation, and we wish him the best of luck!

In his free time, Connor likes to golf, camp, fish, and spend time outdoors with friends and his dog. He also has a passion for watching college football and going to the gym.

Welcome to our chapter, Connor!
